Students’ active participation earns them new computers for schools

This March, DIL Junior 1 in Orangi Town was the proud recipient of new computers and a camera. The gift was presented by iEARN Pakistan in recognition of the efforts and dedication of DIL students and teachers who participate in iEARN online projects.
iEARN is a partner nonprofit that focuses on enabling young people to use the internet and other technologies to engage in collaborative projects. These projects enhance learning, address issues of global importance and have a social impact. DIL students in 2014 worked on issues surrounding health, hygiene, income generation and the environment.
The new equipment has been installed in the computer lab and is being used by students for iEARN activities as well as general use.
